The Saskatchewan Mining Association Exploration Section, Health and Safety Sub-committee invites industry professionals and students working in the exploration industry of Saskatchewan to a day of informal talks and open discussion about working safe in field mineral exploration.
Health and Safety representatives from various exploration companies and government departments will be present to provide informal talks on how to create safe work environments. The workshop will bring together new and veteran workers in the mineral exploration industry who would like to learn more about the diversity of risks we face every day, ways in which we may introduce safety in to our lives, and how to improve safe performance in our workplace.
This workshop is intended for all who are conducting exploration field activities. It is strongly recommended for students seeking employment in the exploration industry, especially for this coming summer field season. The workshop was valuable for all junior, project and senior geologists and management currently working in the exploration industry.
