OPERATION:

In operation since 1983, Key Lake is the largest uranium milling operation
in the world  with capacity to produce 16% of the world's annual uranium production. Key Lake received ISO 14001 environmental management certification in January 2003.

CAPACITY:

The Key Lake mill has a rated annual capacity of 18.7 million lbs. U3O8
(7,193 tonnes uranium), the largest capacity in the world.

PRODUCTION:

16.6 million lbs. U3O8 (6,385 tonnes uranium) was produced in 2008 from ore transported from McArthur River.

RESERVES:

Mining no longer occurs at Key Lake. The mill now processes ore from McArthur River.
