In operation since 1983, Key Lake is the largest uranium milling operation
in the world with capacity to produce 16% of the world's annual uranium production. Key Lake received ISO 14001 environmental management certification in January 2003.
The Key Lake mill has a rated annual capacity of 18.7 million lbs. U3O8
(7,193 tonnes uranium), the largest capacity in the world.
16.6 million lbs. U3O8 (6,385 tonnes uranium) was produced in 2008 from ore transported from McArthur River.
Mining no longer occurs at Key Lake. The mill now processes ore from McArthur River.
Providing a foundation for growth through a safe, responsible mining industry.
